Product Details

The RallyRoad Strut Tower Bar for the E36 M3 based on the popular BMW Motorsport Design that is no longer available from BMW. We have always admired the BMW Motorsport Strut Tower Brace that came with the E36 M3 Lightweight. Unfortunately, that strut tower bar is no longer available from BMW and used examples regularly sell for $600 or more.
The bar ends are machined from billet aluminum and the top bar uses the factory motorsport mounting style to pre-load the strut towers. Billet ends are black anodized to ensure good looks and performance for years to come. The preload adjusters are CNC'd from billet aluminum, as is the custom 22mm jam nut. To keep the bar weight on par with the original motorsport bar, the center bar is entirely CNC machined from 6061 Aluminum. This bar is stronger than the original OEM BMW Motorsport strut bar in every way, while retaining a similar look and light weight.
Unlike some bars, the center section is removable so you can service your spark plugs, etc without removing the entire bar. If you have ever jacked your car up to do something on the underside of the vehicle and then needed to remove your strut bar for access from above...well, you know what a hassle it can be.
Camber adjustments are easily made because the top of the strut housing is left open. Some bars use strut mounts with closed or partially closed tops which make camber adjustments nearly impossible while the strut bar is installed.
Please note that like the OEM Motorsport Strut Bar, this bar will not clear the traction control modules on E36 models.
The bar is entirely designed and manufactured in the U.S.A
